Sethward adventures to figure out life by befriending the characters of his body parts. Listening to his cartoon brain leads him to perform hijinks as animals in homemade costumes for unsuspecting spectators at real-life events. This show takes the fearless stupidity of the impersonated animal characters Sethward brought to talent shows and places them into the real world with a new scripted/improvised hybrid series.

Project Overview
Different worlds come alive together as we jump between hidden camera public stunts, wild animal impersonations, homemade stop motion, and grotesquely detailed animation – altogether pioneering a next-level genre of committing to the joke. He takes the concept of failure and flips it on its head, often literally. As a blend of huge risks and improvised absurdity with physical hilarity, it's something never yet seen on TV!

Story
Having been rejected from every form of entertainment in town, Sethward is looking for a gig where he belongs. While his brain buddy has helped him accomplish awesome things like the world record for most rejections on America’s Got Talent and The Gong Show, it also gets him in trouble. For instance convincing Sethward to jump off of buildings or fall down stairs as if he were truly a cartoon and not a fragile human in an animal costume. As he gets hired to perform at various live events and shows up in his homemade costumes, real and unsuspecting people react – they are scared, concerned, confused, and entertained, creating a cacophony of good television! As he mistreats his body and struggles with his physical and mental health, we journey with Sethward in learning how to take better care of his organ friends and make his way in the real world. Each of his body buddies represent a character Sethward interacts with in town, grounding his imaginative internal world in a real life perspective – showing that his made-up world maybe isn’t so made up after all. The audience gets to see how both the body buddies and the neighborhood friends have valuable lessons to teach about taking care of each other.

Each episode follows Sethward in a wide variety of comedic scenes set in the real world of animal costumed craziness and the imaginative worlds of his body buddy parts. It’s fast-paced, multi-faceted, and fun! Each episode will follow a loose theme, but really, it’s all about unexpected moments and keeping people guessing at what he will do next.
Episodes
Episode 1: A dejected Sethward places an ad in the classifieds as a costumed character. When someone orders a Mickey Mouse, Sethward the Rat shows up at a 6yr old's birthday party. Terrified kids run around causing Sethward to fall smashing his Lego Kidney. He has to deal with the consequences of listening to Cartoon Brain while apologizing and mending his hurt organs - learning to better take care of his body and mental health.


Episode 2: Sethward the Walrus crashes a wedding as Clay Heart teaches the value of emotional regulation.
Episode 3: Sethward the Hungry Caterpillar interrupts story time at a local library where Felt Stomach has things to say about hunger and heathy eating habits.


Why
This show is about what happens when a human befriends his mind and body, learning to work all together to figure out how to be well and live well in a world full of chaos and struggles. It’s all about body positivity in a time where bodies are still villainized and mental health help is still largely stigmatized. Sethward shines light upon these issues in a fun yet meaningful way – through hyper-committed playfulness and crazy multifaceted creativity only he can achieve.
Bio
You’re not going to find a more outrageous style of comedy than what Sethward brings to the screen. He specializes in taking ridiculous character concepts to hilariously deranged places, and committing so hard that the comedy becomes transcendent. “Swede Cinema" meets real-life cartoonery, melding a homemade aesthetic with physical comedy and fearlessly playful creativity. Who knew pratfalls could have such heart?
Sethward grew up in a small Texas town but now is a staple in the LA absurdist comedy scene. He is the proud owner of the most Gongs received on The Gong Show and world record holder for appearances on America's Got Talent. He's the Andy Kaufman of the reality TV generation. His performances leave spectators questioning what is comedy, what is talent, realizing life is full of so many more fun possibilities outside of the norm.
